Summary

Only GLD remains on a sell signal, and with the triangle consolidation, we could see one final spike to a new low. A lower low on the metals with higher lows in gold stocks would be a positive divergence and we can become aggressive buyers in the sector.

All four ETFs remain on buy signals this week.

GLD – on buy signal.

Summary

We were stopped out with a small loss because only one out of four ETFs had a set up. All four are now in a bearish config, which favors short set ups over long set ups. Obviously we will not short at these levels, but to wait for a rally when prices are at the EMA resistance.

Long term investors – do not panic out of your core holdings until there is a monthly close below the seven year trendline support.
