Profiting from Bond Market Volatility

Steve Walsh from Western Asset Management discusses his approach to investing; he looks for value investments and believes it is essential to diversify your portfolio.  He sees alot of volatility in interest rates and spreads.  He like plain vanilla mortgages and mentions that he uses bond price volatility to profit and how he has added to his existing position on the Fannie Mae 30 year mortgage backed securities. 

Western Asset was also looking at buying some automotive stocks like GM & Ford.  Additionally, Sallie Mae presents some opportunity for this investor.
