What is a Securitization

The speaker discusses the concept of securitization which has three key components:  1.  Pooled credit sensitive assets, 2.  Credit Risk Transfer, 3.  Tranched Liabilities.  Mortgage Backed securities and asset backed securities are a good example of securitized products.
