Day Trading Video 1-2-2008

Happy New Year everyone!!! I pray that '08 brings us all continued success. Today I traded Tata Motors Ltd (TTM), Millennium Pharmaceuticals (MLNM), Goldcorp Inc (GG), Akeena Solar Inc (AKNS), Agnico Eagle Mines (AEM), for a total gain of $118.10. I actually shorted GG, which was a bonehead move as the stock began to rally with the rest of the golds. I honestly have no clue what I was thinking. Good thing is that I went right back in there and bought AEM and was able to get a decent profit out of the rally.

On another note, I have decided to trim the videos down to my best trade of the day. I hope that this proves to be more useful than me trying to lump all of my trading activity into 1 video. In today's trade I will cover my short on MLNM. This trade was good for me psychologically, because I had just taken a 1% hit on a long in MLNM minutes before I put on this short. I am beginning to develop the mental strength and trading flexibility to change my opinions on a dime. This will be critical as I continue to increase the amount of shares I trade.

Occasionally you will see trades appear in the position graph bar that I have not been actively monitoring. These trades are from my business partner's account. But I will specifically call out the positions that I am managing so you can follow along. There is a full screen option, so if you find yourself squinting, feel free to go to the big screen.
