Currency Rate Movements
The speaker provides an explanation of what it means when the currency quote moves up or down. A move up indicates that the base currency is gaining value against the counter currency and that it would take more of the counter currency to buy 1 unit of the base currency. Conversely, a decrease in a quote indicates that the counter currency is gaining value against the base currency and that it would take less of the counter currency to purchase 1 unit of the base currency.
