The video illustrates a trading example utilizing a short squeeze in YHOO stock.  To understand short interest levels in a stock, the speaker uses the data on Nasdaq.com, which is provided free of charge.  He reviews the data and explains how he uses it and what he looks for.  He wants to see large shifts in short interest to indicate changes in trend and possibly portends a short squeeze and volatility in the market.  The more dramatic the shift in short interest is, the greater the odds of a larger move.
